I am struggling to give this book three stars. Not because it's not a great story, but because the ending ruined the entire book. How does an Author end such a great story with trash ending? It's almost two years since this story dropped so it appears like there will be no part 2 to save this story from such a horrible finale. The characters in the book were good, but when Kaisha and Sharon showed up there was hope for some more interesting drama. But this book failed to provide it at all. We never got a chance to see what Damon was really up to and to see if Emmanuel and Jasmine could have a forever love. This book sucks so far and if I was you I wouldn't purchase it. Even as a free book, it's a waste of time reading this slop and ending up feeling short changed with the mess at the end. KEEP IT MOVING PAST THIS BOOK, YOU WILL NEVER GET THAT TIME BACK. Sorry to be so harsh, but super disappointed after getting to the end.Product details

Refreshing read! I enjoyed the story line and I really liked the story. Good job author!
This book was awesome! It's full of pretty much every emotion a human being can feel. I can't wait for part two to come out because the author left me on the edge of my bed with thoughts of what is gonna happen next. Will the truth ever come out or will it truely be to good to be true.
As a member of the "Reading Is What We Do Book Club," and having met NDEA B. in person in January of this year, I have to say she definitely gives her all to her book, "Too Good to be True.! Stimulating and sizzling with drama galore from beginning to end, she has created characters you can relate to and definitely form an opinion about..smile!!! Escalating with intense intrigue, the readers will find themselves anxiously waiting for what will happen next and when it does, you just might find yourselves filled with emotions ranging from empathy, wonderment, indignation, humor and anger, to downright thinking "the sistah must be out of her mind letting him get away with that...!" Definitely an attention grabber..buy it now! I can't wait for the sequel! Way to go, NDEA!!
When Jasmine first met Emmanuel she turned him down flat out, but a month later they couldn't get enough of each other. Even when things go awry they still try to give their love thing another try. Their road to redeeming their love is never easy. As they try to make their situation work they continuously run into past lovers who will try anything and everything to end their courtship.
I liked the fact that all of the characters were involved in the storyline somewhere and were connected to one another. This kept me interested throughout the book. I also enjoyed the idea of the main characters still gave love a try after being hurt in the past. This book was far from your typical `hood' book.
There were a few things that can be corrected that author can incorporate to improve ratings on future books. There were times where you couldn't tell who was talking because of the structure of the sentences. The paragraphs can also be put together a little better. In some instances I had to go back several sentences to distinguish who was leading the conversations throughout the book.
Despite the corrections that can easily be updated in future printings, I can't wait to read the sequel of this book!
I loved this book but the cliffhanger at the end, not so much.....I noticed this was a reprint and the original was published in 09....what I want .....no what I need to know is did the author ever come out with part two if so where can I find it or at least the name of it.....if not....what's taking so long, ms NDEA .....good job with the book but .......
it was like page after page of anticipation....as the reader you just feel like something was about to go down...but just when it's about to happen.....to be continued.....so you go from anticipation to frustration.....and if after four years if there is not part two .....irritation.....do I recommend this book....yes if there is a part two or you like unfinished books.... I want to reiterate ....I am by no means saying it was a bad book because it wasn't ....it was just an unfinished book......the book left too many unanswered questions....I take that back it left all questioned unanswered.....hoping for a part 2....
